Star Rating - Installation and Configuration

Overview

The Star Rating add-on introduces the new Star Rating field type and allows users to rate an Account or Lead in Sugar and provide a visual representation of that rating.

1. Licensing

Before installing the product package, make sure you have the Faye licensing module installed. You can find the steps to take here.

2. Configuration Guide

Step 1. Log into SugarCRM as a user with Administrator permissions. Once logged in, click your profile icon towards the top right of the screen and select the Admin option. 

Step 2. After the package is installed via Module Loader, scroll down to the Faye Licensing section and select the FAYE | Star Rating Field Type License  link. 

Step 3. Input your Highlight License Code that was provided by Faye and then click the Save button.
 

3. User Guide

1. Go to Admin > Studio > <module> > Fields > Add Field to create a new Star Rating field.

2. Once the field has been created, you can find it in the targeted module (Accounts in our example), on the account record view.

3. You can rate the fields created in step 2.1 above by hovering over the stars and clicking Save once done.
