Sugar Freshdesk Integration - Installation and Configuration

Overview

The installation and configuration of the Sugar Freshdesk Integration entails three major steps:

1. Submission of the Onboarding Form for the provisioning of the integration bridge by Faye
2. Installation of the Sugar Freshdesk Integration package into Sugar (package to be provided by Faye after the integration bridge is provisioned)
3. Installation of Sugar Freshdesk Integration App in Freshdesk (configuration parameters to be provided by Faye after the integration bridge is provisioned)

1. Installation of the Sugar Freshdesk Integration Package into Sugar

1. Please follow THIS guide to install the Sugar Freshdesk Integration package on your Sugar Instance.

2. After installing the package, return to the Admin screen and search for and click on Configure API Platforms.

3. Add api and rest API platforms by first typing the name in the white entry box and then clicking on Add.  You can leave the Enable Notifications check box enabled.

4. Click on Save to save additions.

2. Installation of the Sugar Freshdesk Integration App in Freshdesk

Note: This step cannot be completed until the Onboarding Form is submitted and the integration bridge is provisioned by Faye.  Upon successful provisioning, you will be provided with your configuration settings needed to complete step 6 below.

1. Go to the admin page then select Apps under Support Operations.

2. Search for and select the Sugar Freshdesk Integration app that will look something like this:

3. Click on Install and wait until the app is installed into your Freshdesk instance.

4. Go back to the admin page then select Manage Apps in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

5. Under Installed Apps, click on Settings next to Freshdesk – SugarCRM – Webhooks.

6. Copy and paste the configuration settings provided by Faye after the integration bridge was provisioned (see Installation and Configuration).

7. After all settings are populated, click on Save.
