‘Pretty URL’ Links

Overview

‘Pretty URL’ Links allow the user to set the name of the URL link by using the Comments Text field in Sugar Studio.

Licensing

User Guide

After installing the plugin, the User will be able to set the mask text on the URL fields in SugarCRM. This can be achieved by adding mask text in the Comment Text field in the Studio.

This can be done by following these steps:

1. Go to Administration > Studio > Module > Fields

Select any field with type URL, for example in the module Accounts.

After the field definition is loaded modify the Comment text field with the wanted “mask” value and click Save.

After this URL will be presented as a mask rather than a full URL. Also, this Comment Text value can be loaded from a label tag (e.g. LBL_LINK_LABEL_EN).
