3. In the Options tab, you can choose the below:
A. Default Lead Source for Imported Leads, When set, this will automatically assign that lead source (i.e. Cold Call, Public Relations, etc.) to all contacts that are imported from Constant Contact into Sugar.
Note: This is only important if you plan on importing contacts from Constant Contact into Sugar.

B. Mark Email as Invalid? Please click on the i next to the checkbox for more information on each of the following options (B to H).

C. Sync Sent Campaign Events. This will sync all sent events into the campaign results. Depending on the size of your list, this can cause the campaign result sync to slow or fail.
D. Automatically Sync all CC contacts to Sugar. This will allow you to choose the default destination/module for all imported CC contacts. You can do so by checking the Enable checkbox. Once the checkbox is enabled, you now have the option to automatically import all CC contacts to the Contacts, Leads, or Targets module. This feature will import ALL CC contacts to an individual module.

E. Automatically import CC Contacts Start Date. This is the earliest date from which the automatic contact synchronization will check for changes on CC.
F. Automatically Import Opted Out Contacts Start Date. This is the earliest date from which the opted-out contact synchronization will check for changes on CC.
G. Remove the Opted Out members from target lists. Remove the links for members that opt out of the target lists.
H. Exclude lists from syncing into Sugar.
Once you have finished choosing all the above information, click on Save.
6. In the Mapping tab, you can choose to map additional information from Sugar to the contact information in Constant Contact. To add additional information for Sugar to Constant Contact, click on the Add button.

A. In the Sugar Field there is a list of options to choose from.

B. The CC Field is the field name that will be created in Constant Contact under the Additional Contact Fields section. Currently, the CC Field options are set to CustomField1, CustomField2, etc. You must click the Save button for your changes to be applied to the Field Mapping Settings.
Note: Sugar is the master system, meaning any values in the custom fields on CC will be overwritten (if the field is mapped).

7. The Advanced tab has additional options and commands regarding synchronizing Constant Contact and Sugar.

A. Download CC List Names to Sugar Target List Names. This downloads only the list titles from Constant Contact into Sugar Target Lists. No actual contacts are downloaded through this function. It only synchronizes the lists between the two environments. This process runs automatically every 24 hours. You only need to run the process here if you want results sooner.
B. Download CC Campaigns and Numerical Campaign Results to Sugar Campaigns. This downloads the campaign names and the numerical campaign results from Constant Contact into Sugar campaigns. The more detailed campaign results sync automatically every 24 hours via the Sugar Scheduler. You would only need to run the process here if you wanted the numerical results sooner.
C. Force Full Detail Campaign Sync on Next Run. This will force the integration to run a full detail campaign sync (as opposed to just retrieving the details from the last 90 days) the next time the automatic sync runs.
D. Force full Contact Sync To CC on Next Run. This will force the integration to run a full sync next time the automatic contact sync runs.
E. Run Automatic Contact Sync Now. This will automatically synchronize all CC contacts to Sugar. Note: This will only create new records in Sugar if the 'Automatically Sync all CC contacts to Sugar' option is set.
F. Retrieve CC Custom Fields. This will retrieve any custom fields defined in CC and make them available in Sugar for mapping.
G. Update CC Opt-outs. This will set the cc_optout field in Sugar to true (checked) for any contact that has opted out on CC. WARNING: This cannot be undone.
H. Reset Invalid Email Flag. This will reset the invalid email flag for all email addresses in Sugar (this will remove the strike-through from the email address). WARNING: This cannot be undone.
Note: There will be more on some of the options from the Advanced tab in the How to Manually Retrieve Constant Contact Information guide in this section.
