Highlight Field - Installation, Configuration and User Guide

Overview

The Highlight Field add-on introduces a new field type to Studio called Highlight Text that can be used to draw the attention of Sugar users to key information on the screen.

1. Licensing

Before installing the product package, make sure you have the Faye licensing module installed. You can find the steps to take here.

2. Configuration Guide

Step 1. Log into SugarCRM as a user with Administrator permissions. Once logged in, click your profile icon towards the top right of the screen and select the Admin option. 

Step 2. After the package is installed via Module Loader, scroll down to the Faye Licensing section and select the FAYE | Highlight Field Type link.
 

Step 3. Input your Highlight License Code that was provided by Faye and then click the Save button.

3. User Guide

Go to Studio > <module> > Fields > Add Field to create a new Highlight field, as well as set the Background Color and Text Color for that field.
